Linda provides essential non-medical support for seniors in the Pinellas County area, assisting them with daily living activities, personal care, and other tasks to promote their independence, dignity, and overall quality of life. As a companion caregiver, she offers a range of services, including:
1. Companionship: Delivering social interaction, emotional support, and companionship to alleviate loneliness and isolation through conversation, reading, board games, puzzles, crafts, music, and movement/exercise therapy.
2. Personal Care: Assisting with dressing, grooming, and bathing using a walk-in shower, bench, or handheld showerhead. This service does not include lifting, transporting, or driving to appointments.
3. Daily Living Activities: Helping with simple meal preparation, feeding, clean-up, and providing medication reminders and observation to support self-administration—entirely non-medical and without administration.
4. Household Support: Performing light housekeeping, laundry tasks, and simple organization projects.
5. Pet Services: Offering assistance with feeding, walking, and general light care for dogs, cats, and birds.
6. Documentation: Keeping accurate records of clients' care, including vital signs and notable events.
7. Safety and Emergency Response: Monitoring clients' safety, responding to emergencies, and providing basic first aid when needed (this does not include skilled nursing services or wound care).
8. Communication: Maintaining open communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care throughout the process.
